Good place to stay - helpful staff, nice rooms, breakfast ok too... WiFi was a little slow tho... would definitely stay again!

Fantastic location, close to a variety of food choices within walking distance. Many thanks to the staff of the hotel for helping to arrange a little surprise for my partner as we were celebrating his birthday. Amazing work from the front desk team - it was raining on the day that we checked out and the staff came up to our rooms with umbrellas to ensure that we would not get wet. The Skylight Suite was amazing as well, very comfortable and spacious. Will definitely come back again one day!

Outstanding Stay As Always at The Sultan

The Sultan remains my favorite hotel in Singapore for one main reason, the excellent staff that work here. Of course the facilities are awesome as well, with a brilliant breakfast thrown in, comfy bed, excellent shower and strategic location. Always good value for what you pay for.

Will always come back here

Pros So convenient stay. Accessible to food stores, restos, convenient stores and mrt. Walking distance to malls. Hospitable staffs. Cons: Shower needs flexible head to move around to your body when taking bath.

This hotel is incomparable to any other hotels in Sg

This is the coziest place i have ever stayed in ever in singapore. Nearby to all food, malls and mrt lavender or bugis. Free breakfast is superb. They also sell plain rice only. We really love this hotel. Internet is very good. Staffs are warm and very hospitable.

This is our home away from.home. we love the place. Very cozy and very private staying.nearby to all

The staff are very warm and accommodating. But housekeeping should clean room fast. It's taking time before the housekeeping finish our room. But overall i can say this is the best place o stay in singapore.

Lovely boutique hotel in historical building

Pro: - Lovely boutique hotel in historical building with charm. Especially the larger rooms have a nice historical touch and are cozy. The smallest room is still nice but pretty small (SG standard though). - Great location for us in the old town. Walking distance to Haji Lane and Arab street. - Quiet surrounding on most days. Cons: - Saturday night parties in the inhouse club can get noisy. Party guests going to the outside bathroom as well as the cleaning staff in the middle of the night are talking loudly and kept us awake most of the night. :-( The music was audible too (but not particularly disturbing). I think it's not a good idea to have a club in a boutique hotel. This destroys the serene ambiance there at night. - The cleaner kept the aircon on in the afternoon, even on a very low temperature. We found this unnecessary and especially wasteful! We sleep with open window (as it's a very quiet area) and no a/c, and don't like a freezing cold room when coming back.
